Kids empowerment by Activity Wizkids

You may have to wait till you're 18 before you can officially do a few things – like driving, voting or having a full time job, but that doesn't mean you have no rights, nor does it mean you should be a mute witness to all the wrongs in the world. Because kids have rights too.

Every human being under the age of 18, regardless of your race, colour, gender, caste, language or any other factor, has rights. They apply to you, your classmates, your friends, even the children you see working at tea stalls, grocery stores or begging on the roads.

The United Nations Charter of Child Rights (CRC) is built on the principle that "ALL children are born with fundamental freedoms and ALL human beings have some inherent rights".
Your Rights as a Kid
• Right to Survival – to life, health, nutrition, name and nationality
• Right to Development - to education, care, leisure, recreation
• Right to Protection - from exploitation, abuse, neglect
• Right to Participation - to expression, information, thought and religion

Voice yourself. Stand up for what you believe in.
Because Wizkids are empowered kids who make their world and the world around them.
